Quarter 2 - A Fresh Start!
Second quarter has arrived and it's a new beginning. You have the chance to make your grade whatever you want it to be! Make sure to turn in assignments on time, complete redos, and ask questions when you don't understand.
Check your grades on JMC often to see how you are doing.

Recommended Redo
Any problems that were marked incorrect on an assignment or quiz can be redone for full credit. Test questions can be redone in the presence of a teacher for half credit. Simply fill out a Redo Sheet, showing work for the incorrect problem and explaining why it was wrong the first time.
Any assignment, quiz, or test that falls below 70% will be marked with a red "R" which means Recommended Redo. (The pink check simply means the grade has been entered in the online JMC grade book.)
Students will be responsible for taking the initiative to redo work for a better grade, and to seek help if needed. A deadline will be given shortly after each chapter test, and after that time no more redos will be accepted for the chapter.

Week-long Sub
As was planned from the beginning of the school year, I will not be at school from Sept. 11-15. Mr. Harmoning is a retired math teacher and will enjoy overseeing your math activities for the next week.
Please give him all your respect, and work hard! Remember - what you do matters, because YOU matter.
